FNL Go group: Dating Delilah
So my church’s youth group at ICA – FNL, has this thing called FNL for teenagers only where we usually meet on Fridays @ 6.30 Pm. Every WED(7 p.m) and SAT (2.30 pm). We gather as a group to talk about the scripture with the other folks of FNL. And last month, we just finished a series we were talking about based on the book Dating Delilah that was written by Judah Smi. The topic of Dating Delilah talks about love, sex and Dating and how God is in it blessing us.
The discussions that came out may have been slightly disturbing, but our concerns about God and us (love, sex and dating) have been answered and many interesting discussion came out of it. We got to see and realize many new things we never though before and got a view on how God works in our “love lives”. And how he wants to be our number one priority.
I think this book is great for those of you who are curious on how God sees love, sex, and dating. And how blesses us with the ability to experience it. Dating Delilah is a good guide for those of you who have difficulty in reading the bible every day. They give questions, brainstormings, a scripture for us to open up in the bible too. It’s a book that can help train ourselves to read a scripture and feed our hearts every day.
