The words “Kaspersky Lab” are often followed by sighs of relief in the anti virus community. Over the years, this one-time small startup has grown into one of the most trusted and powerful computer security software manufacturers in the industry. Scoring very high in third-party tests, Kaspersky excels in early detection for the majority of computer threats. This week, Kaspersky Lab announced a brand new product scheduled to hit the shelves next month: Kaspersky Small Office Security (KSOS). According to a Kaspersky press release made on Tuesday, KSOS will fill a much needed role in SMB security; “small business owners have been confronted with a mismatch when it comes to securing their office computers…rely on either consumer software built for personal use, or more expensive and complex corporate solutions that require much more overhead.” Kaspersky Small Office Security is specifically designed to protect businesses with up to ten PCs and two servers. Small businesses everywhere can’t wait for KSOS to improve their security and protect their data from malware and viruses.
